Position Overview:
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the overall delivery of the project to the customer. The Manager works closely with the Steelwedge Professional Services (PS) Account Manager to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and desired results. The Manager leads the team and is also responsible for on-time delivery, scope, budget and revenue management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- On-time and on-budget delivery of large, multi-phase and multi-million dollar enterprise software implementations
- Lead a multi-location services team including resources in California, India and on-site with the customer managing time zones, task allocation and overall work plan
- Manage all aspects of the project (SOW creation, scope definition and adherence, timeline, budget, staffing, communication)
- Manage project team and coordinate delivery tasks on a daily basis including coordinating with offshore delivery team members
- Act as primary point of contact to customer organizations and also internally to different Steelwedge departments
- Work in lock-step with Steelwedge PS Account Manager and Sales Executive to ensure customer success and identify upsell potential
- Provide weekly status update to Customer and internally within Steelwedge organization
- Leverage standard Steelwedge project management tools and templates
- Manage project scope, initiate change requests and if necessary escalations through proper channels, leveraging standard Steelwedge tools and protocol
- Highlights potential and existing risks, develops mitigation strategy and drives issues to resolution
- Collaborate with Steelwedge PMO on status, staffing and project timeline
- Coordinate and support regular Customer Steering Committee meetings and updates
- Creates, maintains and updates internal practice materials such as project plans and other best practice related documents
- Partners with Product Management and Product R&D to deliver on committed product release timelines and milestones
Core Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- 7-10 years experience both implementing S&OP, complex supply chain and demand planning systems and/or working in a manufacturing environment
- Previous project management experience with enterprise systems implementations
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong speaking, writing, presentation and organizational skills
- Self motivated and self directed
- Strong domain expertise in forecasting, demand planning, S&OP, and supply chain planning
- Experience as a project or program manager with remote team members implementing planning solutions, preferably in international environments with off-shore delivery component
- A BS or BA degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
