CONTECH selects Steelwedge Software for Cloud-based Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

Pleasanton, CA - January 6, 2010 Steelwedge Software, Inc., the leader in Cloud-based Sales and Operations Planning  (S&OP) solutions, announced today that CONTECH is deploying the Steelwedge S&OP Platform to support its sales and operations planning roadmap.


CONTECH® Construction Products Inc. is the leading provider of site solution products and services for the civil engineering industry.  CONTECH's product portfolio includes bridges, drainage, retaining walls, sanitary sewer, stormwater, erosion control and soil stabilization products for clients working on transportation, commercial, industrial and large-scale residential projects. CONTECH selected Steelwedge to improve sales forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, profitability and reduce inventory levels. The Steelwedge solution will enable CONTECH to consolidate and manage planning inputs and leverage the highly scalable, cloud-based Steelwedge S&OP platform.

CONTECH executives and planners will use Steelwedge to capture and forecast unit demand and revenues, evaluate rough cut capacities (RCCP) and measure actual performance against plan. Executive management will use Steelwedge to review, approve and adjust forecasts and to align them with sales and operational plans.
